Greg Manassa

Greg Manassa serves as President & CEO of FirstCity Bank of Commerce. A native Floridian, Mr. Manassa is a seasoned financial executive with over 24 years of diversified banking experience. After earning a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Florida State University, he successfully completed an 18-month graduate level credit and bank management training program. Mr. Manassa’s proven track record includes serving in senior level private banking and commercial real estate management positions with Wachovia and SunTrust Banks and the successful chartering and operations of two Florida based community banks. He holds an active State of Florida real estate broker’s license and the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) professional designation for commercial real estate.

Mr. Manassa remains a strong advocate of community involvement - professional associations and charities. Industry involvement includes participation in national/regional conferences, an annual Florida Bankers Association community bank legislative awareness trip to Washington, D.C. and several bank President/CEO symposiums. Mr. Manassa’s board memberships and community service includes the American Cancer Society, United Way, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Children’s Cancer Foundation and as a Guardian Ad Litem for child advocacy. He has served as a delegate on City of Tampa’s Chamber of Commerce Annual Benchmarking metro-city tours and is a past graduate of the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program.
