Mr. Gaither is a principal of Green Bear Capital, LLC a real estate investment advisory firm. Mr. Gaither has served as Chief Operating Officer for Arbor Commercial Mortgage, LLC, which provided commercial and multifamily mortgages through Fannie Mae, FHA and Conduit Securitization. Arbor Commercial Mortgage also managed a publicly traded REIT, Arbor Realty Trust, which provided over two billion dollars of bridge loans, mezzanine debt and preferred equity investments for multifamily and commercial projects. Prior to his position at Arbor, Mr. Gaither was the Senior Credit Officer for PNC Residential Mortgage Corporation where he also served on the Board of Directors for PNC Mortgage Reinsurance Company. During his 20 years in banking, Mr. Gaither has held senior positions with Amerin Guaranty and Prudential Home Mortgage. Mr. Gaither began his banking career at First Union National Bank in 1980 where he held several management positions including Manager of the Midwest Loan Production Office, VP of Syndicated LBO Investments and Manager of Mortgage Warehouse Lending . Mr. Gaither is a past member of the Zell/Lurie Center Advisory Board at The Wharton School. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Executive Council. Mr. Gaither is a graduate of The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Winston-Salem State University.
